So life is crazy between planning a wedding, surviving the world at large and attempting to write a book. I’m not so quietly losing my mind and probably should be resting instead of word vomiting a blog post. Sorry for the mess.
I got edits back for my hopefully-debut which is scary and exciting and more than a little overwhelming. The upside is that my novel isn’t an absolute trash fire! The downside is I have to do re-writes. Well, it’s not really a downside because it means I can make my baby even stronger, but holy hell is it daunting.
Before I throw myself into re-writes, I finished a kind of spin-off that was meant to be a short, fluffy novella that ended up with more issues and angst than I intended. The draft is rough as hell, but it’ll be a good distraction between other works.
In the meantime, I’m trying to get some artwork done up so I can introduce my characters properly to the world. I’m also a month out from marrying the love of my life and somehow thought it would be a good idea to do everything at once.
